Introduction

This beautiful Georgian property is the perfect place to stay with your friends and family located in a pretty traditional English village with plenty of local amenities close by and ideally situated to explore the whole of Somerset and Dorset providing family-friendly days out with lots of activities to do and attractions to visit including Longleat Safari Park Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge. Step into the stone-flagged main hall which leads to three spacious and elegant reception rooms and the farmhouse kitchen/diner which includes a glass-roofed dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has an AGA electric oven induction hob microwave fridge freezer and dishwasher along with a central island to enjoy your morning coffee there is also a walk-in larder. From the main hall you can access the morning room with tall sash windows and garden views leading to a snug with open fire. There is also a stunning orangery with seating and a cinema with comfortable sofas and large TV to enjoy all your favourite films. Head up to the first floor bedrooms where you will find four bedrooms three of which have en-suite bathrooms with bath and WC and one with an en-suite shower room with WC. Attached to the main house there is a self-contained property that has one double bedroom and one super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made as a twin upon request) a well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob microwave and fridge and an open-plan lounge/diner with comfy seating and a wood burner along with a dining table. Completing the accommodation is a bathroom with bath and WC. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool (May October) hard tennis court croquet lawn and small football pitch providing no end of fun for those who enjoy an active holiday. If relaxation is the order of the day you can pull up a sun lounger next to the pool steam away your worries in the sauna take an indulgent dip in the hot tub or watch a film in the cinema room.
