A rurally positioned converted barn on a 100 acre working Cornwall cattle and arable farm this is the perfect countryside getaway to the west. Close to the pretty Helston River and six miles from the town of Helston it s also equidistant between Falmouth and Penzance. Best of all it s on the Lizard Peninsula and within driving distance of the attractions and places of beauty including Mullion Cove Coverack the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek Goonhilly Downs and Lizard Lighthouse the most southerly point on the British mainland. The Lizard is almost like a separate country from the rest of the county of Cornwall with its wooded coves secret rivers uncommon geology unusual cafes and quaint villages. The Lizard also has some great surf spots along the western edge specifically the characterful Gunwalloe Cove. This tasteful barn conversion is one of four properties so for large group bookings this could be the ideal solution. On arrival you will find a welcoming lounge with an electric fire TV DVD and French doors that lead out on a patio. The large kitchen/diner comes equipped with an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer washing machine tumble dryer microwave dishwasher dining table and a second set of French doors. Also on the ground floor is shower room with WC. Upstairs a master bedroom with a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room with WC. Nearby is another bedroom with a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be converted into a twin on request). The third bedroom is a nice twin. Also on the first floor is a bathroom with bath and WC. Outside each property has its own private patio with garden furniture and a hot tub. There is also easy access to a shared lawn area.
