This lodge rests on the outskirts of Easingwold at the heart of some of the most beautiful scenery England has to offer. Surrounded by the sweeping Howardian Hills there are incredible views all year round alongside an assortment of equally wonderful towns and villages. Easingwold boasts an excellent choice of pubs restaurants and cafes and is perfectly situated for visiting the North York Moors (9 miles). Explore the beautiful coast or travel into the majestic city centre of York (17 miles) and enjoy some retail therapy or explore York Minster (16 miles) and the variety of museums. Surrounded by the sweeping Howardian Hills there are incredible views all year round alongside an assortment of equally wonderful towns and villages. For some memorable days out visit Flamingo Land Resort (21 miles) or Castle Howard (15 miles) – a historic stately home with grounds fountains trails and lakes. There are endless places to walk or cycle nearby. Head to Malton (18 miles) known as the foodie capital of North Yorkshire boasting popular weekend food festivals. Located in a small quiet parkland of lodges the lodge sits near the lake with views from the terrace. The lodge is accessed via a short flight of steps leading up to the front door. Once inside you ll step inside a handy utility room which is useful if you arrive back from your adventures wet and muddy! Head into the open-plan spacious and light-filled lounge/kitchen/diner and get a sense of cosy nights in ahead. Comfortable sofas and a Smart TV feature in the lounge and the contemporary-style kitchen is equipped with a gas hob electric oven fridge/freezer microwave and dishwasher. Sit at the breakfast bar drink in hand while the chef of the group prepares a homecooked meal. There s also a dining table with seating for four and patio doors leading out to the decked terrace should you want to dine alfresco. The bathroom is very roomy with a shower over the bath and a WC. Both bedrooms are also generously proportioned; you won t feel like you re in a lodge! The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a WC and plenty of space to hang your clothes while the twin room is great for children and adults alike. Sit outside on your terrace refreshing drink in hand while you enjoy the peace and quiet that surrounds you. Throw a blanket down and take a picnic over to the lake and watch the swans on the water.
