Introduction

The village of Pilton is a friendly and active community set within the rolling hills of Somerset. The mainline station of Castle Cary is a five minute drive away and is 1hr 40mins from London Paddington. Located some two miles south west of Shepton Mallet home of the Bath & West Showground and five miles north east of Glastonbury you will be ideally situated for exploring the heart of Somerset. There are many fascinating National Trust properties nearby including Stourhead Lytes Cary Barrington Court Tintinhill Gardens Montacute House and Glastonbury Tor. Other attractions and places of interest within easy reach include the historical city of Bath the cathedral city of Wells Cheddar Gorge Wookey Hole and Longleat Safari Park. On entering this impressive but welcoming property you will find the first of two lounges with features including Smart TV Sky TV DVD and wood burner effect gas fire.
