Introduction

Surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside the hamlet of Glanvilles Wootton is a great base for exploring all that rural Dorset has to offer. To the north is the historic town of Sherborne with its pretty honey coloured streets and imposing castle. Here you can while away an afternoon browsing the boutique shops or try out one of the popular cafes for afternoon tea. Heading south from the cottage you will find some of the county s most popular attractions including the Cerne Abbas Giant and the county town of Dorchester. With a choice of great amenities on offer including museums two cinemas and a bustling high street – there is something here for all the family to enjoy. From the driveway take the side entrance into this detached property. The door opens into a spacious hallway which is the ideal spot to leave muddy boots after a stroll through the countryside. Immediately to the right is a useful separate WC. Garden furniture and a BBQ make this the perfect place to unwind with a drink or meal. To the side of the property is off-road parking space for two vehicles.
