Introduction

Spofforth village is home to the historic ruins of Spofforth Castle having connections with the English Civil war. You can walk to Sicklinghall village and Stockeld Park by heading over the communal parkland. Venture further afield by car to Ripley Castle Pateley Bridge and Fountains Abbey and the cities of York and Leeds. If you enjoy going to the races the racecourses of Wetherby York and Ripon are all nearby. This is the perfect base for exploring some of the hidden treasures of Yorkshire. If you are staying on business the Convention Centre in Harrogate and Yorkshire Events Centre are an easy journey. Enter via the courtyard area stepping into this contemporary styled Mews. Head through to the stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers plenty of space and with air conditioning in most rooms you will always be at the right temperature in this house. There s even an under stairs cupboard for shoe storage and a safe for any personal belongings. The stylish lounge area has a large TV and is perfect for relaxing after a day sightseeing around Yorkshire or exhibiting at the Convention Centre. The bespoke well-equipped kitchen hosts many luxury appliances such as built-in coffee machine water boiler electric oven and induction hob fridge freezer microwave dishwasher and washer/dryer. Serve dinner in the dining area which comfortably seats six and is a great place to sit and plan your next day s adventure or play a board game after dinner. There s even a handy ground floor shower room with shower and WC. Heading up the stairs there are three bedrooms to choose from a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower and WC a double bedroom and a single. The bathroom offers a luxurious separate steam room bath and WC. Venturing outside through the french doors is your own patio garden complete with hot tub and outdoor seating with easy access to the parkland beyond. There is parking for two cars in designated spaces. Up to two small dogs welcome please note that dogs must be on a lead when outside the property.
