The village also lies on the edge of the Blaenavon World Heritage site home to several historic attractions including the Big Pit National Coal Museum Blaenavon Heritage Railway and Blaenavon Iron Works. There are many miles of walks cycle routes and towpaths within easy reach and opportunities to try climbing abseiling canoeing and caving are all on your doorstep. For a more restful day trip nearby Abergavenny is a must which has built an excellent culinary reputation and a visit to the award-winning high street in Crickhowell is highly recommended. Enter the beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with views straight out to the fields beyond. The lounge area has two comfortable sofas a TV and a warming wood burner to provide the cosiest focal point to the room. From here you are led down a couple of steps to the lower ground floor with a second lounge ideal for children and teenagers with a large sofa and smart TV. There is also a contemporary wet room with shower and WC on this level and bifold doors to outside. From the ground floor head upstairs to the first floor to the sleeping accommodation where there are three bedrooms. The first is the master double bedroom with a smart TV and fantastic rural and mountain views followed by a further double and a twin bedroom all with linen and towels provided. There is a bathroom on this floor with bath and WC that completes the property. Outside there is a large enclosed decked area with your own private wood fired hot tub perfect for gazing up at the stars after a day of exploring. You can also enjoy use of the patio furniture and BBQ whilst taking in the far-reaching views. Here you will also find access to the garage which houses the utility area with washing machine. Please note the property is accessed by travelling up a private narrow lane which opens to reveal a bridge which you pass over to find the parking in front of the property with enough space for four cars.
