Introduction

Twyford is a peaceful hamlet offering a slice of idyllic rural living yet within easy reach of great amenities and attractions. The nearby market town of Shaftesbury home to Gold Hill which was used as the backdrop for the famous Hovis ad in the 1970 s is well serviced by choice of pubs and shops selling essential supplies. Lovers of the outdoors can head some of the many local beauty spots within easy reach including Cranborne Chase and Bulbarrow Hill. To the South is the stunning Jurassic coastline home to some of Dorset s most photographed landmarks such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Or perhaps stroll through the water meadows in Blandford Forum before testing out a Dorset cream tea. The shared gravel driveway leads directly to the main entrance into this detached property. Once inside you are met with a welcoming hallway leading firstly to a stylish open plan kitchen/diner straight ahead of you. With a bright and airy ambience this well-equipped space is the ideal central meeting point for family suppers. Heading upstairs from the entrance hall you will find a striking galleried landing which is the ideal spot to settle down with a good book. There are a choice of bedrooms here including a super-king-size zip-and-link (can be arranged as a twin on request) a king-size and a cosy twin room. These bedrooms share the contemporary bathroom which has a bath separate shower and WC. Finally you will come to a super-king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom which includes a fabulous roll top bath perfect for a long soak and a WC. Stepping outside from the hallway you will find a patio area and herb garden with furniture to the side of the property where you can light the charcoal BBQ and cook up a storm. An area of lawn wraps around the back of the property to a second patio area which has a hot tub and lovely views over the pastureland beyond. To the front of the property is a parking area suitable for four vehicles.
