Introduction

The historic and bustling market town of Richmond (3 miles) has a fantastic range of independent shops pubs and restaurants and is also the site of the atmospheric Richmond Castle. Just a couple of miles further on is the glorious Yorkshire Dales National Park with the stunning landscapes of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale to explore. Local attractions include The Forbidden Corner (17 miles) Castle Bolton (16 miles) Barnard Castle (12 miles) and the pretty village of Middleham (15 miles) home to the ruined castle of Richard III. Heading south of the Dales you will find the glorious Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (17.5 miles) while to the north (22 miles) you can discover the dramatic North Pennines. Stepping inside this magnificent triple-level holiday home you will find yourself in the spacious and elegant lounge which features a TV DVD an open fire and underfloor heating making this an ideal space to relax in. Exploring further the stylish kitchen/diner is the perfect space both for preparing and enjoying a fantastic family meal. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need including an AGA style oven and dishwasher. For a more formal meal you can gather in the adjacent orangery which has lovely views out onto the garden. The property has six individually styled double bedrooms including several four-poster beds. The first bedroom is on the ground floor and has an en-suite wet room. Heading upstairs the remaining five bedrooms all offer charming views over the village. There are three bedrooms on the first floor one with an en-suite wet room while the other two share the family bathroom. Finally at the top of the house there are two fabulous master bedrooms one with a walk-in shower and the other with a free-standing bath. Heading out through the patio doors you will find the beautiful enclosed gardens with a sheltered patio area perfect for enjoying a meal or a drink in the evening. Or you could sit back and unwind in the wonderful wood-fired hot tub.
