Introduction

Situated in this beautiful part of the National Park an ideal spot for exploring on foot or by bike and offers some of the most breath-taking views. The market towns of Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale with quaint market squares overlooked by historic buildings and a choice of shops and amenities are both nearby. Other musts while you are in the area include the impressive Three Peaks and Malham Cove and the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway that enjoys awe inspiring scenery all along its route all of which are within easy reach. Further afield you can explore the Lake District where you will reach the stunning shores of Lake Windermere where you can explore the lake via a lake steamer as the day floats on by. Enjoy the views and then take four steps up into the lodge where there is space for hanging coats and boots and where you can leave the day behind. You will find an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner a welcoming luxurious room where you can relax in front of the pebble effect electric fire and watch the TV with large windows flooding the room with light. There is also a collection of books and simple board games for a rainy day. A dining table and chairs is set to the side and perfect for a simple supper or entertaining friends and family. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer dryer. And when the time comes to say goodnight the two bedrooms finished to a luxury standard. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room and WC and the second bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom with shower over bath and WC can also be found off the hallway. Enjoy the views from the property with outdoor table and chairs to enjoy al fresco dining or relax and unwind with the bubbles of the private hot tub (available from 18th October 2019). There is off-road parking for two cars.
