Introduction

Within driving distance of the house there are a number of places where you can experience the dramatic Highland landscape in different ways to suit your whole party. Board a cruise at Ullapool Harbour (3.5 miles) for a trip to Loch Broom and the Summer Isles. The boat trips are a fantastic way to spot local wildlife. Further down the coast is Leckmelm Shrubbery and Arboretum (6 miles) a tranquil place for a morning stroll where you can admire the exotic plants. Nature lovers explorers and keen walkers alike have any number of inspiring routes and trails to choose from including those at Knockan Crag National Nature Reserve and Visitor Centre (10 miles) and Corrieshalloch Gorge National Nature Reserve (14.5 miles). A single step up will bring you to the front door of the house and into the entrance porch. Both the lounge and kitchen/diner boast floor-to-ceiling windows with French doors allowing you to enjoy the sweeping views whether you re eating dinner or relaxing on the sofa. To one side of the property the kitchen/diner is equipped with an electric double oven electric hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher and there is both a breakfast bar at the kitchen island for casual snacks and light bites and a formal dining table. At the other side of the property is the spacious lounge with soft seating where you can curl up in front of the multi-fuel stove in its stone surround and watch SkyTV or a DVD. Also on the ground floor is the utility room housing a washing machine and dryer a TV/games room as well as one of the bedrooms and a wet room perfect for guests who may be a little less mobile. The further three bedrooms are all on the first floor one of which includes a fantastic private balcony. Two of these stunning bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and the third has use of the main bathroom. The outside of the property has a patio area where there is seating ready for a BBQ so you can dine alfresco and admire the breathtaking views. The hot tub can also be found here back against the house wall. The patio is accessible by both sets of French doors which each have two steps down. Please note that while there is a low wall the patio is not entirely enclosed and there is a drop at the front of the property.
