Nestled in a beautiful peaceful countryside location within easy touring distance of the historic marketing towns of Dumfries and Castle Douglas with their excellent range of leisure facilities great selection of shops restaurants and friendly Inns to enjoy. The splendid Solway Firth is also within easy reach boasting 200 miles of magnificent coastline and an array of sandy beaches to explore. There are many attractions in the area for all including Caerlaverock Threave and Drumlanrig castles Robert Burns house numerous golf courses and wildlife reserves. For an active holiday there are plenty of walking hiking and cycling routes in the immediate area and the famous Seven Stanes mountain bike trail is within easy reach. Step inside this stylish lodge into the hall leave your shoes and coats behind and head through to the lovely spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has comfy sofas surrounding the TV where you can relax and enjoy a great movie together. French doors lead directly out to the decked balcony with amazing views. The kitchen area is well-equipped the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric Range oven and gas hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The dining area with table and chairs is the perfect place to enjoy romantic meals together and plan the next day s adventures. The light and bright stylish king-size bedroom with TV and en-suite bathroom with a wonderful free-standing bath separate shower and WC.Completing the accommodation is the handy separate WC. Heading outside there is a spacious decking area with direct access from the lounge with beautiful views and seating to enjoy al fresco dining or evening stargazing perhaps with a wee dram local ale or a glass of wine.
