Introduction

The immediate area offers some superb walking with a network of footpaths straight from the property alternatively a little further afield Exmoor National Park the South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail (cycle hire is available in Barnstaple) all wait to be enjoyed. Beach lovers are well catered for with Saunton Croyde Woolacombe and Westward Ho! a short drive away. But should you wish to explore further afield the pretty coastal villages at Hartland and Clovelly are worth a visit. Barnstaple offers amenities including the characterful Pannier Market and at Bideford you can jump on the Oldenburg and enjoy a day boat trip to Lundy Island. Other attractions accessible from here include nearby Portmore Golf course Tapeley Park Arlington Court and Dartington Crystal. Stepping into this superbly finished property you will immediately find yourself in the lovely open space that houses the hot tub for six you then go through the sliding doors to lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is comfortable with a Smart TV to sit and while away the evenings. The dining area offers a table and chairs making mealtimes a breeze and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to conjure up a feast or a quick snack with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/ freezer dishwasher. A washing machine and dryer are located off the hot tub room. Off these rooms are two bedrooms one with a king-size bed and the other with twin beds both have en-suite shower rooms with shower and WC. Heading out through the French doors you have a large enclosed patio area with garden furniture a gas BBQ fully-equipped for you to enjoy a freshly caught fish from the lakes. There is private off-road parking for two cars provided. Guests at all the properties on this site have the freedom to wander the grounds and surrounding fields. There is a lake where you can fish (rods and tackle available) and there is also a putting green and an art room available for you to use by arrangement with the owner.
