Within the National Park there are plenty of market towns such as Pickering home to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Pickering Castle tearooms cafes pubs and restaurants. Right on your doorstep is Flamingo Land theme park and zoo along with other local attractions like Eden Camp Castle Howard or you could also head to Scarborough or Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. Hutton le Hole approximately 12 miles away boasts gift shops pubs the Ryedale Museum and is ideal for walkers. For foodies the last bank holiday weekend in May Malton hosts The Food Festival. Expect artisan stalls delicious street food celebrity chefs and much more!
