Introduction

The property set in the grounds of a scene of a historic battle and forming the central part of the main house is just four miles from the golden sandy beach at Poppit Sands which is near the popular estuary village of St Dogmaels with independent shops waterside pubs and tea rooms. Visit Cardigan with a historic castle and a great range attractions and establishments to visit. Lots of coastal villages are waiting to be discovered in either direction such as Aberporth and New Quay providing boat trips kayak hire and wildlife watching too. The UKs smallest city St Davids with breath-taking cathedral is a short drive and avid walkers can enjoy a day on the stunning Preseli Mountains. Entering into the kitchen/diner you can immediately sense the relaxed charm of this home sensitively refurbished in 2018. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer and microwave. Table and chairs sit towards the corner where there is a door through a small hallway leading to the large lounge. This imposing room has a beautifully restored wood burner TV and leather sofas and chairs. There are some fun touches with the artwork a theme carried throughout the property. From the kitchen/diner there is a staircase up to the first floor landing. Leading to the right is a very large emperor-size bedroom with an ornamental fireplace and period furniture looking out towards the gardens. Across the landing is the bathroom with fabulous shower over bath and WC. Outside there are large enclosed grounds with a mixture of lawns fields and woodland with shared outdoor facilities including kitchen charcoal BBQ wood fired pizza oven and feasting table. There is ample private parking for one car. As the grounds are shared with another property please ensure you are mindful of social distancing guidelines when using them.
