Introduction

From this Derbyshire barn conversion there are a network of footpaths from the doorstep which contribute to the peace and quiet of the rural village life. Ashbourne is just ten miles away boasting quaint cobbled streets as well as a number of antique shops and independent eateries to enjoy sampling. Chatsworth House Haddon Hall Heights of Abraham Tissington & Monsal Trail are within easy reach. Add into the mix the famous Alton Towers Theme Park and you will be spoilt as to whether to stay and enjoy this fabulous barn conversion or explore the delights of Derbyshire. Stepping into the cottage you notice the spacious corner sofa just waiting for you to relax so curl up with a good book in front of the wood burner and enjoy the light that floods into the space from the patio doors and watch the surrounding wildlife that call this country retreat home. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offers a social space so you don t miss out on spending time with your loved ones. The kitchen area offers an electric oven and gas hob fridge/freezer and washing machine with a dining table located in the heart of the kitchen to come together for that special meal. There is a spacious downstairs bathroom with impressive freestanding bath in the middle of the room and a separate shower offers an option for those who prefer a hot shower over a long soak and a WC. Heading up the spiral staircase is the double bedroom the place to get a good nights sleep. Please note the apex ceiling means head height is restricted in places. Outside is a patio area with wood-fired hot tub BBQ and seating overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside. There is a shared courtyard with ample seating dotted around and off-road parking available next to the barn for two cars.
