Retreat 2256 – Llandysul, Wales

Introduction

This super detached cottage comprehensively refurbished in 2018 sits in an enviable position overlooking the Teifi valley. Situated just a few miles from the market town of Llandysul which has a good range of independent shops pubs and eateries. The stunning West Wales coastline is surprisingly close just over 11 miles to the seaside resort of Aberporth a great starting point for other fishing villages up and down the coast such as New Quay and colourful Aberaeron to name but a few. A little closer to home is Cenarth with its renowned waterfalls and rich history of coracle fishing a perfect place to walk off a hearty lunch. Entering into this lovely cottage is a very welcome surprise with a contemporary interior providing an airy yet cosy feel. The lounge area with super views has a warming wood burner making this an excellent home all year round. There is a ground floor double bedroom leading from the left of the lounge but the rest of the room flows into the open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is very well equipped with electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The dining area is perfect for a sunny breakfast or a more formal evening meal and enjoys lovely rural views. This leads to an internal hallway with a shower room with WC and a utility room with washing machine and an additional freezer. There are stairs from the lounge to a half landing one side splits to the right and the fantastic master bedroom with a super-king-size bed and en-suite shower room with WC. Taking the left there are two further bedrooms a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin on request) and a twin room. There is a family bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Outside to the garden area with steps to your own private hot tub. A perfect spot for taking in the magnificent views during the day or star-gazing in the evening. Patio and lawn with enough space for the energetic to burn off some excess energy. Private parking for 3 cars.
