The Brecon Beacons National Park is perfect for walking enthusiasts with breathtaking landscapes to be enjoyed from riverside to mountain peaks. Hire mountain bikes and enjoy pony trekking at Cantref Adventure Farm or try sailing paddle boarding and kayaking at Llangorse Lake. Tackle Pen y Fan the largest peak in South Wales in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park or Cefn Llechid with views to the Black Mountains and The Sugar Loaf. Sennybridge has numerous pubs and services providing everyday essentials whilst Brecon boasts a cathedral regimental museum cinema mountaineering shops and bike hire – the area has excellent routes for both mountain bikes and road cyclists. This traditional farmhouse dating back to the early 1600s has been sympathetically renovated retaining many of its original features. The exposed beams and stone fireplace add character making this a warm comfortable and fascinating place to stay. The open-plan living space has been designed with socialising in mind ideal for large groups and family get-togethers. The superb fitted kitchen has a built-in oven with electric hob microwave dishwasher fridge and freezer whilst the utility room has a washing machine sink and a cloakroom with WC. The dining table seats six in comfort perfect for fun-filled mealtimes. The living area is dominated by a large featured central fireplace with a wood burner-effect electric/gas fire that divides the room with both ends benefitting from the warmth. With two sofas and three chairs there is room for everyone to relax in the evening with a film book or board game. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms one with a shower cubicle and basin and one twin room. The family bathroom is very spacious with a double sized shower and separate bath. Outside enjoy dining alfresco on the patio with the most amazing panoramic long reaching views over the surrounding countryside. Children will love the small shared play hut and swings and when the weather takes a turn head to the shared games room for a game of pool/ping-pong. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 double, 1 twin. 1 bathroom 1 bathroom with bath seperate shower, 1 shower cubicle in double bedroom. Oven with electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Off road parking. 1 dog welcome must be kept under strict control due to sheep in surrounding fields. Complex of properties. Very limited mobile signal. Payphone available. Variable WiFi available by arrangement with owner at additional charge. 4 adult bikes available to hire by arrangement with onwer (at customer’s own risk).
