Set above the sleepy hamlet of Merthyr Cynog this property occupies a fantastic vantage point with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the Brecon Beacons National Park in the distance (10 miles south). Closer to home guests can explore the Mynydd Eppynt Ranges which offer varied routes and trails for cyclists and walkers alike such as the newly appointed Eppynt Way a 90km waymarked bridleway. Attractive market towns Brecon and Builth Wells are both within 10 miles with a range of independent shops eateries and other amenities. When you return home of an evening head to the games room for a spot of friendly competition or soak in the hot tub (available on a rota basis). The property is well-presented with a blend of contemporary and traditional fixtures and fittings including home-grown oak beams doors and windows throughout which add character and warmth. On entering the property you ll find yourself in the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. It s the perfect size to allow everyone to spend time together but still have their own space. At one end is the well-equipped kitchen which has everything you ll need. To the middle of the room is the large dining area which will comfortably seat up to 15 people. At the other end is a comfy lounge with a electric effect woodburner as its focal point making it snug and cosy. Completing the ground floor is a utility room with a second fridge a freezer washing machine and toilet and a good place to discard muddy boots and coats. Upstairs there are three immaculately presented and comfortable bedrooms: two family bedrooms each with a double bed and a single bed and one twin bedroom. One of the family bedrooms has an en-suite shower room there is also a family bathroom with a bath and large double shower. Double doors lead out from the living area to a terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ making it an excellent place for al fresco dining against a spectacular backdrop. There is a shared hot tub and games room which is available on a rota basis and a secure lockable shed for bikes and other equipment. Younger children will enjoy the climbing frame with swings and slide as well as feeding the lambs on the farm during March and April. There is ample off-road parking.
