Introduction

This property and the neighbouring eco lodge have been designed and developed to be comfortable and warm as well as being as energy efficient as possible. The hard work gone onto this has meant that 70% efficiency is achieved. The lodge is located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park in the hamlet of Crai. The area is considered a Dark Skies area resulting in fabulous stargazing opportunities. Binoculars and a telescope are also available for use. Walking and cycling routes are available straight from the door and you can reach the town of Brecon in 12.5 miles. The lodge is roomy and bright with panoramic views of the valley and beyond. In the kitchen you will find plenty of surface space for preparing food as well as all the amenities you may need for your break. Relax in the sitting room with comfortable sofas and chairs and a large screen TV with DVD player. There is also a pool table for you to enjoy. A spacious dining area with a large farmhouse-style dining table and chairs provides enough room for all visitors to enjoy a meal together. French doors from the dining room lead to the large garden. There is one downstairs twin bedroom with an en-suite wheel-in shower/wet room making it ideal for wheelchair users. One of the beds is electrically operated to lift the head or feet as required. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a full-size family bathroom. The external areas of the property are stunning and provide fantastic views over the Welsh countryside. The garden is a large lawn complete with picnic benches an outside dining area children s play area and an under-cover hot tub shared with the neighbouring property. Ample parking is available so is safe storage for bikes and canoes. The lodge is situated on a 300-acre organic farm which supplies Welsh beef and lamb to supermarkets and guests are able to explore the area. Need to know: 4 bedrooms 1 twin, 2 king size, 1 triple room with three single beds. 3 bathrooms 1 large wheel in shower/wet room, 1 en suite shower room, 1 bathroom with separate shower, plus 1 separate WC. Electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer. TVs, Freeview, DVD player, CD player. Wi Fi included. Large garden with patio space, children s play area and shared hot tub. Hot tub shared with neighbouring property, available to hire for exclusive use for an extra charge. Hot tub curfew of 10pm. Access to binoculars and telescope available on request with owner. Off road parking. Regret no pets. Complex of properties. Bike and canoe storage. Horse grazing available visitors are welcome to bring horses with them and owner can provide grazing (on discussion).. Pool table. 4 miles to nearest shop and pubs. Mobile phone signal variable. Property is on a working farm children to be supervised at all times. Due to village location there is a zero tolerance policy to noise disturbance and parties. Mountain Bikes available for hire please enquire on booking.
