Introduction

Nestled at the foot of the Skirrid on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Wye Valley. There is a wealth of walking from your front door that will guide you across the rugged farmland to the Skirrid the smallest though not to be underestimated as stunning 360-degree views across the Sugar Loaf and Hatterrall Ridge. For cyclists you can enjoy the peaceful lanes and downhill trails. And the River Wye for canoeing or kayaking. The area is also rich in history where you can explore the many castles set within the vibrant market towns of Abergavenny Crickhowell and Brecon. The area also hosts to a vibrant events calendar to include the Usk show and Abergavenny food festival. The shepherd s hut is larger than average finished beautifully and set within a cluster of well-secluded shepherds huts. Step inside the open-plan space has been well configured and offers a kitchenette with convection oven/grill with microwave induction hob and fridge with ice compartment. A dining area with solid wooden stools along with comfortable armchairs for two and a wood burner. A built-in double bed with a Smart TV where you can enjoy a peaceful night s rest. There is also a shower room with shower and WC. Outside you can enjoy the enclosed landscaped grounds there is a private hot tub for two that has a cover and a hot water shower there is a sauna where you can relax after a day of walking. There is a comfortable seating area a hammock fire pit and a gas BBQ for cooking along with a storage box. There is off-road parking for one car. Need to know: 1 sleeping area with double bed. 1 shower room with shower and WC. Induction hob, convection oven/grill and microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Exclusive hot tub. Exclusive sauna. Dressing gowns. Allocated parking for 1 car. Pub and restaurant 1 mile, shop 2 miles. Charcoal BBQ (charcoal not included) and fire pit. Smart TV. Regret no children or infants. Tea room on site due to current social distancing measures, the tearoom on site may be operating different services, opening days and times.
