Introduction

A short drive will take you to the traditional seaside town of Weymouth where there is a popular sandy beach backed by an esplanade as well a good selection of amusements shops pubs and cafes. Head across the causeway to the Isle of Portland and visit the lighthouse at Portland Bill or relax beside the historic Weymouth harbour. Nearby amenities include a cliffside pub and farm shop.
