Located on the owner s farm this rural bolthole is perfectly positioned for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. When available the owner is happy for guests to join them for a walk around the farm or venture into nearby Kinnersley (0.5 miles) with its unique castle. Keen walkers should head for Kington (8.5 miles) Offa s Dyke Path (20 miles) or the Wye Valley (22.5 miles) all of which offer spectacular trails and jaw-dropping views. More challenging climbs can be found in the wonderful Brecon Beacons National Park just 13 miles away. No visit to this area is complete without a trip to the foodie favourite of Ludlow (24 miles) or the literary mecca of Hay-on-Wye (10 miles). Inside this cottage has been artistically fitted and furnished throughout with plenty of character and appeal. The delightful kitchen is fitted with an electric oven halogen hob microwave dishwasher fridge freezer and washing machine. Beyond the original stabling stall dividers is an inviting lounge/dining area. Curl up in front of the Biomass wood pellet burner and settle in for a cosy evening of books games or films on the Freeview TV/DVD while relaxing on one of the comfortable chairs complete with homemade cushions. Upstairs are two inviting bedrooms with sloping ceilings one zip-and-link Super King Size bed which can be made into a twin on request and a hand basin and one twin zip-and-link (can be made into super-king-size on request) with a hand basin. Both bedrooms enjoy wonderful rural views and share a bathroom with shower over the bath. Outside the shared gardens offer plenty of quiet areas for al fresco drinks and dining. Guests also have access to a herb and vegetable garden where pear apple cherry and quince trees can be found. Younger guests will enjoy the children s play area with slide and trampoline. Stabling is available for guests if they would like to bring a pony. There is ample off-road parking. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 zip and link super king size (which can be made into a twin on request) and 1 twin zip and link (can be made into super king size on request). 1 bathroom 1 bathroom with shower over the bath.
