Leave the car and meander into Visit England-accredited Hardwick Park to stroll around the lake and woodlands and enjoy a coffee. Spend a fun day at the popular Sedgefield Racecourse known for its relaxed welcoming atmosphere and try footgolf at the nearby golf centre both are within walking distance. Visit Durham City for the spectacular Cathedral Castle peaceful river walks shopping and lunch. By car the unique heritage coastline is only twenty minutes away while the pretty market town of Barnard Castle is and the open-air Beamish Museum are just a short drive. Explore beautiful Weardale and the North York Moors for breath-taking walking and cycling routes. Walk up a couple of steps from the driveway and then up two steps to enter the house through the front door. From the hallway you will find the light and airy lounge with a large bay window that catches the morning sun. Relax on two comfortable sofas after your days out exploring to watch a little TV/DVD. Also from the hallway there is a spacious dining room with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy sociable meals together and another TV to keep the cook company in the kitchen. French doors lead out into the sweeping garden and hot tub with sweeping views across open countryside. From the dining room head into the well-equipped kitchen and you will have everything you need including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and a washing machine. The ground floor has two bedrooms; one with a double bed and rear garden views and the other is a twin overlooking the front garden. The stylish shower room has a shower and WC. Upstairs on the first landing is a play area where you can have some fun playing air hockey & table football. The large third bedroom has a king-size bed and pretty dressing table and there is plenty of storage for your things including a wardrobe located on the landing. The bathroom is on this floor with WC and a corner bath to unwind in. Outside to the rear there is a picnic table for al-fresco dining and fold-away seating you can use around the garden to enjoy the views. Relax in the hot tub watching the sunsets and gazing up at the stars as you plan your next day s adventures. There is secure bike storage available on request and off-road parking for three cars on the drive plus additional parking on the street in front of the house if required. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 double and 1 twin. 1 shower room with shower and WC and 1 bathroom with bath and WC.
