Introduction

A walkers delight this location is home to miles of scenic footpaths that meander through the rolling hills. The nearby popular village of Cromford offers a fine selection of antique shops cafes and pubs. Why not take a canal boat ride along Cromford Canal or visit Arkwright s Mill which is a World Heritage site. From Cromford there is easy access to the High Peak Trail which is a favourite with walkers and is ideal for cycling. Matlock Bath has a huge selection of cafes shops and pubs to enjoy and is also the starting point for the cable car that takes you to the Heights of Abraham. The old mill town of Matlock has a superb range of craft shops independent stores and bars whilst Chatsworth Estate is just 10 miles away.
