The town has a long-standing maritime history and the stunning harbour remains the heart of the town offering a choice of boat trips from relaxing tours of Torbay accompanied fishing trips and a regular service across the bay to the resort town of Torquay. There is plenty to see and do in the town from beaches to water sports and even a wonderful replica of Sir Francis Drake s ship The Golden Hind. You are also just a short drive away from the car and passenger ferry over to the picturesque town of Dartmouth. Further afield but still within easy reach the towns of Paignton and Torquay are also popular destinations and offer attractions such as sandy beaches Paignton Zoo and a wonderful steam railway which runs through the Dart Valley. Step inside this wonderfully quirky property through the bi-fold doors to find yourself in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has a fantastic Smart TV perfect for putting your feet up after a day of exploring the local area and catching up on your favourite shows. There is also a wood burner located here to keep the property toasty during those colder coastal nights. The small kitchen area comprises of a combination microwave oven with a hob attached and a fridge with freezer compartment making good use of the compact space and useful for cooking a light meal with some local ingredients from the town. Moving round the room brings you to the bar area complete with seating to create a space to dine. Towards the back of the property leads to the shower room featuring a walk in shower and an antique Victorian WC. The bedroom area is located on a mezzanine level accessed by using the ladders provided and features a comfortable king-size bed. Outside the property is a brilliant decked terrace with seating to relax in the fresh air and take in the beautiful sea views. To the side and under shelter is a Lay-Z-Spa hot tub with spectacular views the perfect addition to this romantic retreat and a great way to relax in style. There is off road parking for one car in the car port on the driveway. Need to know: 1 bedrooms 1 king size bed on a mezzanine floor. 1 shower room with WC.
