Visit the country park at Witton Castle the ancient ruins at Binchester Roman Fort take a walk amongst the deer in the park at Auckland Castle and spend a day at Beamish Living Museum. Durham s Cathedral city is a must-visit. Stroll along the river choose a nice place for lunch enjoy the Botanic Gardens and the history of Durham Castle and with events both indoors and outdoors all year round there is always something new to discover. This inviting property is set on one level making it convenient for all the family.
