The tranquil positioning of this farmhouse makes it a truly rural retreat whilst maintaining an easily driveable distance to Bude and the surrounding attractions. There are country walks from the doorstep over the farmland where you can head towards the historic Launcells Church and also the nearby garden centre and café both around 1 mile away. There is a pub and shop less than a mile from the property or travel slightly further into the centre of Bude for a wide selection of amenities and a handful of beautiful sandy beaches. Try your hand at surfing on Summerleaze lay back and soak up the British summer sun swim in the tidal sea pool or enjoy exclusive use of the owner s beach hut. Bude also offers Ten Pin bowling an indoor leisure pool golf course tennis courts boating canal and historic sea lock. Other attractions in the area include Hartland Abbey Launceston Steam Railway Clovelly with its steep traffic free cobbled streets and family attractions including The Milky Way The Big Sheep. Alternatively head further afield to explore the historic coastal resort of Tintagel home of the legend of King Arthur or head to the fishing villages of Boscastle Port Isaac and Padstow. Retaining many original features whilst being beautifully renovated to provide a quality home from home the spacious main wing of this farmhouse is the ideal base for a holiday in North Cornwall. The lovingly decorated lounge features comfortable soft furnishings to relax on after a long day of exploring with a TV and Blu-ray DVD so you can watch your favourite show or programme as well as a cosy wood burner to keep you warm in the winter months. Through to the farmhouse style kitchen/diner there is plenty of equipment for you to cook up a feast if you want to stay in for dinner on your getaway comprising of a Rayburn electric double oven and hob fridge/freezer dishwasher and built-in microwave. You can then enjoy your hard work seated around the large farmhouse style dining table for up to eight people. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. One of the four bedrooms is also on the ground floor featuring twin single beds as well as a separate WC on this level. Leading from the utility room kids will be entertained for hours in the games room which contains table football darts and a selection of other games. Heading upstairs you will find a spacious landing with a comfy sofa ideal for a quiet reading spot or observing some of the farm activities from the large windows. Three further bedrooms are upstairs all of which are light and spacious offering a relaxing environment in which you can unwind after an exciting day of exploration. The Master bedroom has a king-size bed with an en-suite shower room and WC whilst there is another king-size bed in the second bedroom. The third room has twin single beds and also benefits from an en-suite shower room and WC. The main bathroom is located on the first floor featuring a bath with separate shower and WC. The property benefits from a superb outdoor space with a pretty enclosed walled garden patio area and seating ideal for al fresco dining using the BBQ if the weather suits. Also outside you will find the hot tub a fantastic special touch to make your trip away extra-memorable. There is ample parking available with the property. By prior arrangement with the owner children can even help out on the farm by collecting the eggs from the free range hens or can help to feed the calves.
