Introduction

Set on the edge of the Forest of Dean the village of Alvington is well served with a convenience store petrol station two village pubs and a tearoom. From here you can easily access both the Forest of Dean and the beautiful Wye Valley while for the more adventurous there is lots to do including abseiling kayaking clay pigeon shooting riding and much more. The National diving and activity centre at Tidenham is also just down the road where you can experience zip wiring water walking and flyboarding as well as diving for all abilities. The picturesque Welsh market town of Chepstow is just six miles away where you can explore its famous castle. Tintern Abbey is also just over the hill in the Wye Valley. This stylish cottage sits within private grounds and has been beautifully finished in a contemporary style creating the perfect base for friends and families to get together and relax. The accommodation includes two bedrooms one super-king-size with en suite power shower and WC and one twin with access across the hallway to a shower room with a power shower and WC. There is also a large double sofa bed in the sitting room that can sleep two extra guests. The large well-equipped kitchen/ diner has an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher as well as a large table and chairs for six guests. The lounge has a large sofa and a 55 inch smart TV where you can relax after a day of exploring. French doors open from the lounge into the enclosed garden space here you can relax and enjoy a soak in the private hot tub or relax and read beside the fire pit with views across the River Severn. There is parking for three cars and secure bike storage. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 super king size and 1 twin. 1 shower and WC and 1 en suite shower over bath and WC. Electric oven and hob and microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer. High chair and travel cot available. Smart TV in lounge. Enclosed garden with garden furniture, fire pit, and hot tub. Off road parking for 3 cars. Pub, shop, and tearoom within walking distance. Sleeps 4 2 double sofa bed in the lounge.
