Located in the peaceful village of Barrington with a lovely pub on the green village shop and a train station nearby in Shepreth (1 mile) with direct links into both central Cambridge and London you are ideally placed to enjoy the best of Cambridgeshire and beyond. Cambridge is just 7 miles away The National Trust site at Wimpole Hall (5mls) is within easy reach along with the beautiful Audley End House (13.5mls) which hosts open-air concerts and shows throughout the year. Shepreth wildlife park featuring a variety of animals including tigers is a mile away and for history lovers then the Imperial War Museum at Duxford (7mls) is a must-see and has regular air displays where you can see the Spitfire Lancaster Bomber Vulcan and Concorde planes up close. You enter this charming and cosy property via the front door which leads you through into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has a comfortable two-seater sofa and armchair which face the Smart TV and also the breakfast bar complete with bar stools is ideal for breakfast lunch or an evening meal together should you wish to dine in. The kitchen area has everything the foodies among you need to prepare a meal with its electric oven and induction hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. The king-size bedroom enjoys field views with the occasional horses grazing leads off from the lounge with plenty of storage for your personal items and the shower room with a rainfall shower and WC leads off from the bedroom. Outside to the front of the property you have a table and two chairs and there is also an enclosed shared seating area so if you do have a dog this is perfect for them to stretch their legs. There are further shared areas around the owner s grounds with furniture provided and by prior arrangement with the owner there is a pizza oven that guests are more than welcome to use to cook up some fresh stone-baked pizza. There is a shared social area with a TV sofas and a small gym which includes a treadmill cross trainer exercise bike and some resistance equipment. The outdoor swimming pool and hot tub is shared and is accessible for guests by prior arrangement direct with the owner as to time slots and availability. Please note the hot tub is not available until mid February 2022. There is private off-road parking for up to one car. Need to know: 1 bedroom king size. 1 shower room with rainfall shower and WC. Electric oven and induction hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment and Nespresso coffee machine. Smart TV in lounge. Outside seating area plus further shared seating areas in the owner s grounds. Use of shared outdoor swimming pool, small gym and pizza oven for all guests by prior arrangement with the owner. Off road parking for 1 car. Pub and shop within walking distance. Private water supply. Shared hot tub available from mid February 2022 by prior arrangement with the owner.
