Introduction
This delightful barn conversion is set in a prime rural location to best enjoy North Cornwall and North Devon. Take a trip to the nearby seaside town of Bude which has a good selection of independent shops and a few high street favourites. There are two sandy beaches one of which has a colourful array of beach huts the other beach has a tidal seawater pool. The iconic canal and sea lock give town visitors plenty to see and enjoy or make use of the leisure facilities including indoor pool golf course and tennis courts. Heading out of Bude pay a visit to the attractive Widemouth Bay which is just along the coast road from Bude and is perfect if you like surfing and other sea borne pursuits. The closest town to the property is Holsworthy with its small selection of quaint shops and weekly market. The surrounding area offers some great family attractions including The Big Sheep The Rebel Cinema Hartland Abbey and Quay The Milky Way Adventure Park Clovelly Hidden Valley and Launceston Steam Railway. The designers have adopted the popular reverse living style of layout as the property s comfortable lounge is located upstairs. On entry to the property you will encounter a kitchen/diner that s spacious and tastefully decorated including an electric oven and hob a fridge/freezer dishwasher and washer/dryer. A dining table and chairs can be found here for those nights you prefer to stay in and enjoy a home cooked meal. Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms the first of which is an airy double bedroom with French doors leading to the garden and the other bedroom has twin beds. Nearby is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC (from 30th March 2019 this will change and become a shower room with walk in shower and WC). Up a staircase leading from the kitchen/diner you will find the spacious lounge with leather sofas here you can relax and watch the TV/DVD choose a book to read challenge your companions with a board game or a game on the Nintendo Wii. Heading outside of the cottage is a lawn garden and private patio equipped with a private hot tub to relax in outdoor seating and a BBQ perfect for al fresco dining. Here you will also find bicycle storage and private off-road parking for two cars.
