Introduction

This rural location offers a wealth of walking from your front door. From the grounds of the farm you can access Blaenavon Common where you can continue to enjoy views across the Brecons and Malvern hills a small track offers access to a country pub (1 mile) though be warned it s a steep climb back. It is a great place to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park with attractions all around including The Big Pit at Blaenavon (6 miles) Brecon Mountain Railway (22 miles) and Zip World Tower (31 miles). For walkers that want to explore the area further you can enjoy the Black Mountains (19 miles) Blorenge (5.5 miles) and Pen Y Fan (32 miles). Enjoy the views as you climb up the valley towards your retreat the retreat is set within its own grounds offering un-interrupted views across the three peaks which include The Sugar Loaf Skirrid and Blorenge the owners have created a space where you can unwind and enjoy the dark skies. Step inside the barn has an eclectic style and has been finished using many locally sourced materials and reclaimed fittings. The space is open-plan enabling you to enjoy the rugged landscape and views from the bi-folding doors that front the barn. There is an area for relaxing where you can sit back and enjoy the TV a bespoke crafted kitchen that is well-equipped to include electric oven and hob fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A breakfast bar has been carved out of old oak where you can enjoy supper whilst taking a seat on one of the bar stools. When the day is done there is a king-size bed where can enjoy a peaceful night s rest. There is a shower room with walk-in rainwater shower and WC along with a utility cupboard with washing machine. Open the bi-folding doors onto the terrace a perfect space for relaxing and dining there is a wood fired hot tub and fire pit for you to make the most of the stunning views. There is off road parking for one car and storage for bikes. Need to know: 1 bedroom 1 king size. 1 shower room with walk in rainwater shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. Utility cupboard with washing machine. Wood fired hot tub (logs included). TV in Lounge. Enclosed garden with decked area with, fire pit and table and chairs. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Breakfast packs, and local produce available by prior arrangement with the owner. Off road parking for 1 car. Storage for bikes and outdoor equipment. Pub 1 mile and shops 3 miles.
