They are situated in a peaceful tranquil setting on the edge of a family run fishery with two well stocked lochs. Located just 2 miles from the ancient historical royal burgh of Linlithgow where you can visit the magnificent ruin of the great Royal Palace which was the birth place of both James V and Mary Queen of Scots set within beautiful parkland known as Peel beside Linlithgow Loch or enjoy a canal boat trip around the town or head straight to the Falkirk wheel. The town also boasts excellent leisure and shopping facilities and is within easy reach to the wonderful cities of Edinburgh Stirling and vibrant city of Glasgow making this all a fantastic base for your holiday. There is a direct train to Edinburgh and Glasgow the train station is just 3 miles away. The Kelpies at Grangemouth are within a short drive away and are a must see! As you walk into this modern property you will find the open plan lounge and kitchen to the rear of the house with views across the open countryside. The lounge has a TV/DVD and the kitchen area is well equipped with electric oven with gas hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Also on the ground floor you will find a double bedroom with the bathroom next door featuring a shower and WC. Venturing upstairs to the first floor there is an additional double bedroom with en-suite shower and WC and a twin bedroom with a bathroom opposite featuring a shower over bath and WC. At the rear of the property with direct access from the lounge there is a private screened decking area with tables and chairs. There is also a shared housed hot tub a short walk from the house which is available to all guests this should be booked with the owners directly. There is blue brown and rainbow trout fishing available on Carribber and Bowden lochs there is a small additional cost which applies which can be paid locally with owners.
