Introduction

Set on the edge of Richmond a Georgian market town brimming with shops restaurants and quirky boutiques there is plenty to see and do nearby. Walk to the 11th-century castle and learn all about the area s past and a wander around the old cobbled market square is a must. Known as the gateway to the Dales Richmond is encompassed by gorgeous scenery with the Richmond Falls winding its way back to the majestic Aysgarth Falls. Go for a picnic alongside the River Swale or Easby Abbey Walk and stop off at the former station for afternoon tea and a well-deserved slice of cake. The station is now home to a cinema real ale brewery ice cream parlour and art gallery. The cottage has been lovingly renovated and combines a clever blend of original features with well-thought contemporary touches creating a comfortable yet unique property with everything you need for a romantic trip away. Step inside this welcoming bolthole that is immaculately presented and pleasing to the eye. The open-plan living area incorporates the lounge/kitchen/diner. Home-cooked meals can be cooked in this generously equipped kitchen featuring an induction hob electric oven fridge freezer wine cooler dishwasher washing machine Nespresso machine and microwave. Sit at the quartz breakfast bar drink in hand while the cook serves you a romantic dinner to have dined here or outside in the private courtyard. After dinner light the wood burner and unwind on the comfy plush sofa snuggle up and pick a film to watch on the Smart TV. Venture the stairs with a glass balustrade passing the local map wall and dive into the sumptuous king-size bed delve into the pages of a book which is made easy with the bedside reading lights. After a restful night s sleep get refreshed in the en-suite shower ready for another day of adventures. Outside the cottage is a sweet little courtyard with a side access gate great when returning from a muddy walk to wash your boots and your four-legged companion at the outside tap with hot and cold water. Sink into the hot tub which is particularly inviting at night under the star-filled skies. There is a shared paddock on the owners grounds that has picnic benches where you can enjoy the surrounding views of the countryside and is also convenient for taking your furry friend out first thing in the mornings and last thing at night. From the paddock there is direct access to a public footpath which leads to an old dis-used railway line. Off-street parking is provided for two cars. Need to know: 1 bedroom king size. 1 bathroom en suite shower room and WC. Induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, wine cooler, microwave and Nespresso machine.
