Introduction

The small hamlet of Little Langdale quietly sits in a scenic valley and consists of a scattering of houses and a local pub. There are plenty of amazing walks right from the door such as Lingmoor Fell to Great Langdale and Elterwater Wetherlam and Tilberthwaite fells. For those adventurous types head to Wrynose pass at the top of the valley and then over Hardknott Pass to the Eskdale Valley. Or head East to Ambleside (5 miles) and the whole of the Lake District National Park within 17 miles this magical location is not to be missed. Enter this impressive property through the front door into the hallway with access to the open-plan ground floor area with huge windows. The large lounge/dining room is bright and airy with the stunning views perfectly framed by the two sets of French doors and bay windows. Comfortable sofas and coffee table are arranged around the feature fireplace allowing guests to relax in front of the large screen Smart TV and cosy gas flame fire and take in the views. The large dining table plays host to everything from family-friendly breakfasts to special celebration dinners with family and friends. French doors open from here to the rear terrace and garden where you will find the hot tub and loungers. The kitchen again benefiting from the spectacular view has French doors which open out onto the terrace. The high quality fitted kitchen with quartz worktops and breakfast bar with a couple of chairs is fitted with a six ring gas hob electric double Range oven combi microwave oven warming drawer large fridge under counter freezer separate wine fridge Magimix coffee making machine and dishwasher all of which are complemented by a large range of crockery utensils glassware and cooking equipment. Also off the hall is a cloakroom with WC. The family room is down six steps on the lower level with additional Smart TV and sofas. On the lower floor is the utility room equipped with a washing machine and dog area. Up to the first floor we have the snug area with a comfortable sofa for quiet time reading a good book or the morning papers. Also on this level is the master and first of five bedrooms all but one benefit from expansive views across the valley. This bedroom has a super-king-size bed with a Juliet balcony and incorporates a dressing area and a large en-suite shower room with WC. Stairs lead to a further three bedrooms. The first of these has views to the rear and has twin double beds with a generous-sized en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath walk-in shower and WC. The second has a king-size bed with a large en-suite shower room and WC. The final bedroom on this floor has a vaulted ceiling and a super-king-size bed. It features the bathroom facilities within the room where you can relax in the roll-top bath after your day s walk or activities. A Juliet balcony allows you to open the glass door to take in the view. A few stairs take you to the final bedroom which is presented as a large twin room with an en suite shower room with WC and Velux windows provide the view. Outside the property is a large mature garden to the front and rear of the property. At the rear are a lovely lawned area and a large terrace with garden furniture. A great place to have breakfast in the morning on a sunny day or indeed any time. The terrace leads you to the hot tub a real luxury in the garden and a must for those warm summer days not to mention a glass or two in the evening gazing at the stars the perfect antidote after a long walk!
