Introduction

This remarkable cabin is set along the Tamar river and surrounded by the Tamar Valley which is soaked in beauty and history. The AONB possesses some of the finest scenery in the West Country and the estuary is an important haven for wildlife such as the avocet and little egret. All combining to create some wonderful walking trails and sites for guests to explore. The World Heritage town of Tavistock (7.5 miles) is within easy reach and offers an historic pannier market boutique shops and plenty of cafes. The National Trust property Buckland Abbey is also a short 5 mile drive away and well worth a visit or head further afield to Plymouth Gin (15 miles) or Pennywell Farm (30 miles) for something a little different. Upon entering this beautiful retreat you will soon notice the luxury airy design throughout the home. With sliding doors that allow you to bring the outdoors in guests will be able to enjoy viewing the stunning panoramic river views. This initial space is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner in which provides easy access for guests to each facility. The kitchen has everything you need including an electric oven with induction hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher whilst there is also a connecting utility cupboard containing a washing machine. The lounge is a fabulous space with the Smart TV double sided wood burner in addition to the comfortable sofa and two armchairs. Completing this space is the dining area where guests can enjoy a spot of lunch and dinner or even sit at breakfast and plan the days adventures ahead. From this area you can continue on into the king-size bedroom which is fabulously spacious and contains a luxury en-suite bathroom with bath waterfall shower and WC. You will find sliding doors here so you can make your way out onto the private patio terrace or even have a lie in and enjoy the views from the bed too a perfect spot to wake up in. The home benefits from its own patio terrace which can be accessed from the private driveway or via the living and bedroom spaces. Here sits some comfortable outdoor seating and a BBQ for you to relax while taking in the stunning views across the river. Take the short steps from the property down into your very own secluded hot tub and sun loungers which adds a calm yet luxury feel to this unique retreat. In addition to this there is also a shared heated indoor swimming pool just up the lane which can be booked for private use too giving you plenty of options to soak in an incredible stay.
