Head 4 miles into Coldstream for shops pubs and tea rooms take a riverside stroll with a picnic or try some trout fishing (day permit required). The market town of Kelso is 8 miles away known for horse racing golf courses and Kelso Abbey. Families will love Heatherslaw Light Railway Ford and Etal castles Chain Bridge Honey Farm and the Hirsel Estate all within 10 miles of the cottage. Walkers can join the Pennine Way National Trail (9 miles) venture 17 miles to enjoy the stunning coastline or visit Lindisfarne castle on Holy Island (22 miles). On entering this beautiful home follow the hallway through to the kitchen/diner the kitchen is perfectly equipped to cook up a storm and enjoy a family meal together around the table Next is a spacious lounge with a wood burner perfect for those cooler evenings relax on the comfortable sofa and enjoy a movie on the Smart TV or on a sunny day open the French doors to the garden and enjoy your breakfast outside whilst planning your next day s adventures.
