The pretty villages of Lynton and Lynmouth (12 miles) are worth a visit with the cliff railway that links the two villages and is the last remaining water-powered funicular railway in the country. North Devon has many beautiful surfing beaches and the pretty little seaside village of Combe Martin (8 miles) is popular with kayakers and paddle boarders with its sheltered cove. Nearby is Exmoor Zoo (2 miles) with the only black leopard in the UK and The Wildlife and Dinosaur Park (7.4 miles) – a great day out for all ages. As you step into this character cottage you can kick off your muddy boots or sandy sandals and relax in the comfortable lounge in front of the cosy wood burner and enjoy a night in with your friends and family and watch a movie or two on the Smart TV. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up some of your favourite recipes and there is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
