One of four rustic barn conversions set within a traditional working farm surrounded by the rolling Monmouthshire countryside and just 3 miles from the vibrant market of Abergavenny where guests can explore the ancient castle explore the museum or enjoy produce from the weekly farmer s market. A great base for exploring the beautiful Usk and Wye Valleys the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Places of interest to visit nearby include Blaenavon World Heritage Site and Big Pit (10 miles) Llanthony Priory (11 miles) Raglan castle (11 Miles). And for foodies a great selection of pubs and restaurants showcasing menus created with seasonal local produce. Annual events include; Abergavenny food festival Hay book festival Green Man and Brecon Jazz festival. Enjoying a rural location within a farmyard the private entrance offers an entrance hall where you can leave coats and boots after a day of exploring. The accommodation has been sympathetically restored and is finished with a rustic charm and comfortable furnishings. An open-plan living space is perfect for a families offering space to relax in the evening warmed with a wood burner there is a TV and dining table perfect for a simple supper a well-equipped kitchen provides everything you may need for preparing meals. There is ample space in this cottage to enjoy meals as a larger party should you be booking another cottage on-site. Guests have the choice of three bedrooms two double bedrooms and a twin room. A bathroom with shower over bath and WC and a bathroom with a shower and WC. There is also a communal laundry room within the site with washing machines and tumble dryers. There are French doors from the living room out to an enclosed garden with a charcoal BBQ with outdoor furniture. There is access to a communal indoor swimming pool (open from 2 weeks before Easter until after October half term) with a booking system for private use a hot tub (operated with a simple booking system on-site) and an outdoor children s play area and games room with pool and table tennis.
