The property is located only 2 miles away from the only coastal village in the Lake District Ravenglass where you enjoy waterside wanders excursions on horseback and time on the green at the local golf course. Hop on the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway otherwise known as the La al Ratty and travel 7 miles to Boot. The heart of Wasdale is 11 miles from home and the valley boasts England s highest mountain and deepest lake where you can jump in for a wild swim. Walking into this substantial Lakeland property you will immediately be struck by the many traditional features being carefully restored by the owners. Entering the hallway you will find a spot to hang your coats and boots before walking to your left and you will find yourself in the beautiful kitchen and lounge which is the hub of this manor house and just the spot you will need to relax and unwind. In the kitchen is a dining table and chairs with hanging lights above creating a homely atmosphere for family meals and a stylish kitchen offers everything you need for your getaway with patio doors leading out to the garden. Heading back along the hall there is a games room with a pool table and armchairs. Before the lounge we have a ground-floor WC with a utility room. At the end of the hall are the spacious sitting room with two sofas armchairs an open fire and tall windows with original shutters. Heading up to the first floor you will find the master king-size bedroom plus single with an en-suite bathroom housing a shower over bath and WC. The hot tub is just what you need after a day out on the fells along with a lovely patio area with seating and a fire pit.
