This wonderful bespoke timber lodge has been designed and finished to a high standard throughout ensuring a true rural escape amongst the idyllic Shropshire Hills and enjoying an idyllic view of the Cound Brook meadow. This part of Shropshire is popular with walkers and nature lovers with an abundance of trails across the hills that provide stunning views. From your accommodation you can walk cycle or drive to the Long Mynd. Visit Church Stretton (2.7 miles) a picturesque town with a wonderful mix of independent shops cafes and pubs alongside a range of outdoor activities to try. Whilst at the lodge make sure to include a day trip over to Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO site (16.8 miles) and learn all about the history of the area whilst enjoying the beauty of the village that centres around the bridge. Another Shropshire gem is the market town of Ludlow (17.2 miles) famous for its stunning medieval architecture and majestic castle. After a busy day exploring this beautiful corner of the UK head back to your lodge to unwind and spend some quality time with friends and family. Make your way into the lodge and step into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. Enjoy a movie on the Smart TV from the comfortable corner sofa and enjoy cosy evenings making use of the fantastic wood burner. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for a self-catered break allowing you to make use of some of the wonderful local produce available. The area is completed with a dining table that will comfortably seat your whole group ensuring you can enjoy a meal together. Continue through the lodge and you will find the two bedrooms one with a double and single bed and a further en-suite double room. This setup is ideal for couples travelling together and families who can utilise the additional single bed. Next to the bedrooms you will find the family-sized shower room. The location of this lodge is stunning and the outside space has been thoughtfully designed to utilise the views of the open farmland and the stunning Caradoc Hill in the distance. Enjoy a meal dining alfresco on the patio area and be sure to make use of the coal-effect gas BBQ that is provided. Spend your evenings relaxing in the hot tub planning your next days activities. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 triple room with a double and single bed. 2 bathrooms 1 en suite shower room with shower and WC and 1 shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. Smart TV in the lounge. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Wood fired hot tub (first basket of logs included). Outdoor patio area with furniture and gas BBQ. Parking for 2 cars. Pub 1.2 miles and shop 2.8 miles. Regret no children under 14 years old.
