The little white town of Bideford is within 14 miles – hop on the Oldenburg and enjoy a boat trip to Lundy Island. Beach lovers will enjoy the sand or surf at Saunton (13 miles) Westward Ho! (15 miles) and Croyde (16 miles). Take advantage of superb walking in Exmoor National Park (11 miles) as well as on the South West Coast Path (15 miles) or cycle along the Tarka Trail (15 miles) all close by.
