Situated just 9 miles from the heart of the Forest of Dean an area steeped in history natural beauty and offers plenty to see and do. Hire bikes from a cycle centre (13 miles) and follow the cycle trail through the forest or explore the sculpture trail at Beechenhurst (11 miles) enjoy paddle boarding at Mallards Pike (14 miles) or test your head for heights at Go Ape (16 miles). Kayaking and climbing can be found at Symonds Yat Rock (17 miles). The city of Gloucester (6 miles) is famous for The Norman Cathedral which has been featured in the Harry Potter films. This converted railway carriage enjoys the privacy of its own grounds with far reaching views over the tree tops towards the Severn vale a spacious terrace providing the perfect place to relax and unwind. The carriage has large double doors that open into the main living area which has been finished beautifully with simple touches of luxury here guests can relax in the armchairs in front of the wood burning stove and enjoy a chapter of a good book. There is a double bed for a peaceful nights rest. Outside you will find a covered dining area that can seat up to four guests along with an outdoor kitchen area equipped with kitchen utensils pots and pans for the chef to get creative. Relax in the wood burning hot tub after a busy day exploring the local area and enjoy soaking whilst enjoying the night sky. There is also secure storage for bikes.
