Perfectly located between the Pennines and the Lake District National Park with lovely walks from your front door and lots of opportunities to go cycling along quiet country roads. Take a trip on the Ullswater Steamers walk an alpaca or enjoy a tour of a boutique gin distillery. The market town of Penrith is just 5 miles away full of character with a range of independent shops cafes and restaurants to explore. With a variety of activities to choose from locally including walking cycling fishing and golf there is something for everyone. The area is also home to a number of historic sites including the ruins of Penrith Castle and beautiful Lowther Castle and gardens.
