Introduction

This property is located in the village of Meare 0.7 miles from the village pub and the Shapwick Heath Nature Reserve with its abundance of wildlife. Fifteen miles to the north of the property the resort of Burnham-on-Sea is a traditional seaside resort with a wide sandy beach a pier and a range of cafes. The historic town of Glastonbury is an easy three miles away from the property and offers a range of quirky shops a large array of restaurants pubs and tearooms as well as the famous ruinous abbey and the legendary Chalice Well Gardens said to be where Joseph of Arimathea left the Holy Grail. When guests arrive at this property they will first find themselves in the hallway which leads onto the spacious kitchen/diner with a dining table at one end and a well-equipped kitchen area at the other where guests will find a cookmaster range cooker and everything else you would need to prepare your evening meals. There is also a wood burner in this room creating a lovely cosy atmosphere as well as patio doors which open onto the garden. Double doors from here lead into the lounge a light-filled room with plenty of comfortable seating allowing guests to relax in front of the Smart TV.
