Introduction

This property is ideal for guests who are hoping to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and relax in tranquil countryside surroundings. Although situated on the edge of a sleepy hamlet the property is within a short drive of the town of Barnstaple where there is a good range of shops and restaurants a theatre leisure centre and a swimming pool. The expansive sandy beach of Westward Ho! and the surfing paradise of Croyde Woolacombe and Saunton are all less than half an hour s drive. Alternatively take a drive to Exmoor head on to the stunning scenery at the Valley of the Rocks or head to the coastal towns of Lynton and Lynmouth. Some of the many family attractions in the region include The Milky Way The Big Sheep and Watermouth Castle. If this all sounds too exhausting a day relaxing at the property or unwinding in the hot tub is always a good option. This charming detached farmhouse is one of three properties on site and provides spacious split level accommodation while retaining many original features throughout. There is plenty of space for the family to relax in the lounge which has a stunning original inglenook fireplace original beams and a cosy wood burner. There is also a TV and DVD in the lounge and three steps leading down to the kitchen. The separate dining room is also full of character including a feature fireplace and there is plenty of space to enjoy family meals around the table. From the dining room four steps lead down to the light and airy kitchen/dining room which features a centre island and breakfast bar as well as another dining table. This impressive room has tiled flooring and quality kitchen units with granite work surfaces a large electric range oven induction hob fridge/freezer dishwasher microwave and large wall mounted TV. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room which provides plenty of space for boots and coats as well. Also on the ground floor is a separate WC. Heading upstairs there are three bedrooms one double bedroom one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC one twin bedroom with zip-and-link beds which can be made up as a double on request. Completing the first floor is the bathroom which has a step up to the bath which has a shower over and a WC. Moving outside you will find the spacious enclosed garden with a large patio and lawn area offering plenty of space for everyone. Relax in the private hot tub or fire up the BBQ and enjoy al fresco meals around the outdoor table. Ample parking is available in front of the property.
