Nestled at the foot of the Skirrid on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and the Wye Valley. It is the perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and relax in the great Welsh outdoors. The area is also steeped in history with some of Europe s finest surviving castles Abergavenny Castle set against the spectacular hills and Crickhowell Castle a prominent feature within a small market town or if you want more of an adventure try canoeing or kayaking on the River Wye. The area is also host to a vibrant events calendar to include Usk show and Abergavenny food festival. Head inside the shepherds hut and you will find the lounge/diner and sleeping area with an inviting wood burner to snuggle up in front of after a day exploring the area. The lounge area has seating where you can relax and listen to music on the DAB radio. There is handily a kettle and a toaster in the lounge area. The kitchen area is to the side of the shepherds hut and has an electric stove and fridge. In the evening snuggle up in the comfy double bed and look out at the stars. You will also find a shower room with shower and WC. After a day exploring why not enjoy a soak in your own private hot tub there is also an area set with table and chairs for summer dining and a charcoal BBQ; guests will need to provide their own charcoal. There is allocated parking for one car.
