Introduction

Cartmel is a charming village boasting a variety of attractions including a racecourse an ancient priory and several outstanding restaurants including 3 Michelin Star restaurants to enjoy within a 3 mile radius. Guests can also take a gentle stroll to the village centre which is approximately 1 mile away and explore the delightful streamside walks and quaint cobbled streets. You can also find a plethora of charming independent shops pubs and restaurants in Cartmel. Visitors can also attend one of the nine race meets held each year at the famous racecourse which has a fantastic atmosphere and makes for a fun day out. For those who want to venture further afield there are several noteworthy attractions to visit including the Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition the Lakeland Motor Museum and the spectacular gardens at Holker Hall and Lake Windermere all a short drive away and within a 6-mile radius. Upon entering the property through the porch you are welcomed into the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner.
