The nearby pretty market town of Leek is a lovely place to spend an afternoon strolling through the shops and cafes. Rudyard Lake is an excellent spot for sailing and fishing or if guests prefer to stay on dry land there are lovely cycling and walking trails around the lake. Back at the property guests can enjoy a relaxing dip in the shared indoor heated swimming pool. The property embraces open plan living with exposed beams and stone floors that add to the charm and character of the property. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker microwave dishwasher and fridge freezer there is a breakfast bar for relaxed dining and a dining table for more formal entertaining. The lounge area is bright and spacious from the surrounding windows yet cosy and intimate from the wood burning stove. Guests can sit in the lounge and gaze out at the breathtaking views across the lake and countryside beyond. On the ground floor there is also a wet-room style bathroom with a shower toilet and hand basin. Upstairs the property has two bedrooms which are both a good size. The first bedroom contains a four-poster double bed and has lovely sloping ceilings that add to the enchanting ambience of the room. The second bedroom also has a four poster double bed and both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with a shower toilet and hand basin. Outside there is the beautiful lake and 8 acres of grounds which are shared with the other properties on this location. The property also provides an indoor swimming pool and hot tub (there is a sauna and steam room available soon) the facilities are open from 6 am to 9.45 am and again at 5 pm to 8 pm. There is also fishing available on site.
