The lodge is located at the heart of Cornwall s historic tin mining country and situated in the small coastal village of Porthtowan. Just 800m from the centre of the village with all the amenities you ll need including local shop pubs cafes beach and play park. Porthtowan s beach is great fun for all the family with fantastic surf for the more adventurous and plenty of rock pools and sand for the little ones. A short trip to St Agnes unveils more beautiful beaches secluded coves and additional dining choices. Watch a breath-taking sunset at the Beacon while enjoying a locally sourced takeaway. Venture a bit further to discover some of Cornwall s most renowned attractions including The Eden Project Godrevy and St. Ives all conveniently located within a 20-mile radius. Enter the lodge effortlessly by choosing either the level pathway leading to the side decking area or the steps leading to the main decking area providing access to this charming rustic retreat. Inside you ll find an inviting open plan living space perfect for reconnecting with family and friends. The well-appointed kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your holiday needs whether it s preparing a picnic for the day or whipping up a family feast. Cosy up by throwing a log or two into the wood burner after a day of exploring the nearby South West Coastal Path or gather around the dining table for an enjoyable evening of card games. The lodge features a luxurious super king-size en-suite bedroom with a TV as well as a versatile twin zip-and-link bedroom (can be made up as a super king-size on request) complemented by a family bathroom. Step outside onto the glass-covered terrace where you can relish the hot tub and dine al fresco regardless of the weather conditions. Overlooking a lush woodland area it offers an excellent vantage point for observing the abundant wildlife that thrives right at your doorstep. The garden area is thoughtfully landscaped with numerous trees and shrubs to ensure maximum privacy while the lounge windows frame picturesque views of distant hills. For your convenience there s an outdoor storage cupboard ideal for stowing away your equipment including wet suits surfboards and bodyboards. Need to know: 2 Bedrooms 1 super king size and 1 twin (which can be made up as a super king size on request). 2 Bathrooms 1 family bathroom with shower over bath and WC and 1 en suite shower room with WC. Electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. High chair and travel cot available on request. Welcome pack provided. Wood burner (first bag of logs provided). Smart TV in lounge and TV in super king bedroom. Hot tub spa and heated outside drench shower, glass covered decked area, lawned garden area and charcoal BBQ. Driveway parking for two cars.
